I have signed up for the danskin and one other and I will probably sign up for a few other tris, but i also want to make goals, on time and placing. Need to sit down and do this. step 1.
I signed up for what I thought was the Danskin but has now turned into just the She-Rox. That's my MAJOR goal.
I just signed up for a Land and Sea class at our local Y. It's at 7:30 on Saturday mornings. Right now, I'm regretting that decision but I'm hoping my regret does move into enjoying it. My second goal is to simply complete it!! :)

One of my main goals this year: Do more to help me become a better swimmer. It is the weakest leg of the tri for me and I'm sick of it! I really need to put in more time at the pool and hire a swim coach to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I want to enjoy swimming as much as I do running and biking, and I'm just not at that point...yet!
A friend of mine is doing the Danskin Tri in Sandy Hook. My short term goal is to lose at least 20 lbs in the next 3 months. I am doing the Biggest Loser competition at my gym and we NEED the money AND I NEED to get healthy and lose weight. I am signing up for tons of 5Ks this spring. My goal is to do a 5 mile in the fall and a 1/2 mile in spring of 2011. Let's DO IT!! ((hugs)) I am going to start blogging again...soon...hopefully. And document my workouts and stuff. :)
I'm doing the Sandy Hook Danskin again this year too. I debated cuz it's kind of pricey, but what the hell. Thought it might be nice to compare times to last years (unless I do worse!)

hahaha! 1/2 mile in 2011...I meant 1/2 MARATHON!
