Race Tshirts

You know all those lovely race tshirts you get for doing a race. I have tons. I love them all. They remind me of where I have been, where I was at in my life. But they are also sucking up space and I really don't were them except to bed ???? What do you do with all those tees ????

  1. I posted on this quite a while back, I'll have to find the link. Anyhow, I finally went through mine and get this--gave away 114! And still had plenty to spare. Ridiculous!

  2. They are always too big for me, so my husband gets to wear them all, except my Boston shirts, of course:)

  3. I wonder the same thing . . . I'll be interested to see what others say. I've gotten rid of a lot over the years (although I have never had 114 as misszippy just shared)! I wear my long sleeve ones in the winter months when I am all covered up anyway and don't care what I look like! I personally think the t-shirts are kind of ugly. I like the idea of getting a bigger size and giving them to my husband - they look better on him anyway!

  4. Ha! Wear them to bed. Throw them on after a sweaty run when I am not quite ready to shower yet, over sweaty stuff after the gym, wear the good technical ones to train in; those are rare. I also thought of cutting out the ones with good sports graphics on them and stretching them on canvas frames and using them as wall art in my son's room.

  6. Make a quilt out of them!! That is what I am doing :) I will never wear them but no way am I throwing them away! Even if you don't quilt you can hire someone to do it for you.

  7. Yes, make a quilt! My mom took about 12 of my dad's NCAA Sweet 16 and Elite 8 T-shirts he had from going to games every other year and made a t-shirt quilt and it's my favorite blanket to use when I am home. I plan to have her do the same with my race shirts as soon as I accumulate a few more this year!

  8. I just wear 'em to bed...or to bum around in after a good workout...but usually not TO work out in. Unless they are good material.

  10. My kids (2 1/2 and 4 1/2) use some of them as painting smocks. They are the perfect size for them b/c they cover pretty much their entire bodies. Other than that, I wear them as p.j.s.
